I’m Joshua Hutson, a professional photographer based in Hamilton, Ontario, dedicated to capturing the emotion and meaning behind every moment. My work spans portraiture, landscapes, and wildlife photography—each image shaped by curiosity, patience, and a deep love for storytelling through visuals.
Photography became my passion in high school and evolved into a lifelong pursuit that has taken me from intricate waterdrop experiments to vast natural scenes and the untamed world of wildlife. I'm also the author of the Photography World series, including Waterdrops and Splashes and Landscapes, Scenery, and Panoramas—books that showcase not only the images, but the stories, effort, and heart behind each frame.
Outside the lens, I’m a proud dad and a devoted partner. My fiancée and I are raising two incredible kids together—a daughter and a son born in April 2025. Parenthood has given me new perspective and a deeper connection to the moments that matter most. In December 2024, I lost my father—a life-changing experience that continues to shape how I see and capture the world around me.
Every photograph I take is a tribute to life’s fleeting beauty, quiet strength, and powerful emotion. Whether I’m out in the wild or working closely with people, I aim to create work that’s timeless, honest, and deeply personal.
Let’s capture something meaningful together.
